The 2025 Honda HR-V has incredible Versatility

With seating for up to five people and 24.4 cubic feet of cargo space, the HR-V seems almost bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. There’s a surprisingly large amount of room in the back of the HR-V with the rear seats folded flat. One of many nods to clever design, the seats fold completely flat to offer up a useable and accessible cargo floor, with no ridges or bumps to snag your bags on.

 
There are also multiple storage compartments throughout the cabin, including under-floor cubbies under that flat cargo area.

The 2025 Honda HR-V’s Drivetrain

Every Honda HR-V is powered by a peppy 158 HP, 2.0-liter four-cylinder. This powerplant is rated for an impressive 26 / 32 / 28 MPG city/highway/combined thanks to the continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The new Honda HR-V is available with 2WD or confidence-inspiring real-time AWD for confidence in all driving conditions, including those deep Racine winters. Opting for this feature has a small impact on fuel economy, dropping the rating around 1 MPG to 25 / 30 / 27 MPG city/highway/combined.

Trim Levels of the 2025 Honda HR-V

There are three versions of the 2025 Honda HR-V available: 

• Honda HR-V LX: A value-focused entry-level version of the HR-V.
• Honda HR-V Sport: A stylish and funky trim level that adds features including a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, and 18-inch alloy wheels plus a sport grille and chrome exhaust tips.
• Honda EX-L: The fully loaded trim that adds a power driver’s seat, leather seating, and a one-touch power moonroof.

 

Technology

Even the base LX trim of the HR-V comes extremely well-equipped. It gets Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity, while Sport and EX-L trims add wireless capability to that system. The EX-L trim comes with a large 9-inch color touchscreen with a volume knob, customizable feature settings, and smart shortcuts to power the infotainment system. 

All new Honda SUV models get the full Honda Sensing package. This system uses camera and radar technology to power safety systems and driver aids including: 

• Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow
• Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
• Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
• Collision Mitigation Braking System™
• Blind Spot Information System (BSI)

There are also parking sensors and a multi-view backup camera to make parking easier.
